The Tessera sweater is worked from 2 knitted hexagons which are extended and seamlessly joined at the front and back. The sleeves are joined with the 3 needle bind off before adding ribbing to the cuffs. Stitches are picked up around the hem and ribbing added, then finished with an applied i-cord to the neck.
Tessera is designed with plenty of positive ease, giving it a relaxed, slouchy feel. The star lace pattern is mirrored on each side, expanding out from the underarm and down to the hem.
Sizes UK 6 to 22 (actual chest circumference 75 to 120 cm). (Pictured in colour Diaphonous.)

Kit Contents: Piccolo Organic Cotton 4 Ply in your choice of the full Piccolo colour range, project bag and printed pattern
You need: 3mm and 3.5mm circular needles (40 to 80 cm), double-pointed needles, stitch markers, darning needle. Optional: 20 cm mini circular in 3.5mm.
Techniques: Pinhole cast on / Knit / Purl / YO / K2TOG / SSK / Slip stitches / Kitchener stitch / 3 needle bind off
